You can do it at low speeds on even surface for a short distance, but generally not recommended (unless you have a manual trans).

You'll risk severely damaging the transaxle. It mostly has to do with the fact that automatic trans use a pump for lubrication of all of the moving parts.

Not sure what year you have, but it definitely says not to tow with drive wheels down in the 2022 manual.

Thanks. As a FWD, I noticed it requires front wheels on dolly. Not sure I want to risk it.

Isn't it really heavy for a toad? What is the weight of the CX9 and what is the trailer brake requirement where you'll be towing? Can your RV pull, control, and stop a toad this heavy? Remember to add 500 to 750# of the weight of the tow dolly (depending on model) to the total tow weight.
