I think Lance is awesome. But has anyone read his book. He goes through the whole book talking of all the things he's overcome, and never really gives much thanks to his wife and family. He credits everything to his inner strength...
GO LANCE
Surprised to see Lance doing so well so early in the stages
Can't believe his wife left him after last yr's Tour
Yes his wife was there for the hard times and made him a better person but why give up all of that
Maybe they might have got back together but don't know
i have been watching for the past couple of days and it is awesome. its unbelievable how close they ride to each other and at what speeds they take those corners, some of them (corner that is) are blind with mediums and they start scrambling to both sides of the road so they can make it. crazy
As for the issues with his wife....we don't know what goes on behind the sceens....you just never know what goes on.....
I didn't pay that much attention last year at this stage in the race....I found it remarkable that he was as much as 9 and 1/2 minutes behind and the experts saying he would easily make that up in the mountains...as that is his strongest stages....that is the part I find remarkable. I really hope he does win this one....just so he can stand alone in the field of the greatest bicyclests as the ONLY person to EVER win 6 in a row......a very remarkable achievement.
What he has done is AMAZING but I think other people should keep their comments to themselves. Cause did you hear what Greg Lamond said?
He said that Lance must be on something! And blaming Lance for running him out of the sport because he knew about certain people doping
Lance is a mountain person thats how he won it each and every year-The years before he usually got screwed on the team stage cause the team wasn't that well!
I hope Lance can pull it out, then spend the off-season with his GF Sheryl Crow
