Took my car to the stealership again...

Some of you might remember the post i made about my car and the hesitation it was doing, some people said it might be the EGR or various other things and when i took it to them they said they couldnt replicate it. Well its been a month and out of the blue it starts acting up again on Mon so i take it and they kept it over night as i requested.

So what was my cars issue you may ask? lol i thought i was gonna die when i heard what their reason was....Its all my CAI's fault pup you bet they said the reason why its hesitating during acceleration like it wants to stall out is "a loose clamp" wow a "clamp" yup thats what they said(which they charged me $42.50 for). So i warn ya's out there please make sure ur headlamp bulbs are stock for they will blame it on your headlight blubs for not being stock when your car starts burning oil HAHAHA jack asses....

Dude, sorry to hear that. But not surprised.
Did u clean the EGR? Try that and a reset of the ECU.
Do u have a CEL on? I found a small local shop that I trust. I think thats the best way to go.

I dont want to touch my EGR as i dont trust my self that much to play around with things im not familiar with. I'm just really cautious when it comes to my car.

Wait that happened to me in the winter time!!! At like 4000 rpm getting on the highway for the first time on a cold day my car would hesitate....but in the warmer days (32 or warmer) the car doesnt do it....sorry to here of your problems...best of luck

ohhh you might want to check the blinker fluid too...the dealership told me i was low and it will make my car faster too it only cost me $500 hahaha jk

this is not something to technical, and you really can't screw anything up...it's something you can do and there's a"how to" on this and everything!

and did their 42 dollar clamp fix the problem? or did it just kinda go away because it only happens once in a while anyway>?

sorry about not posting back oddly i havent gotten any updates that this post was updated, and the busy weekend but yah slug its Gallo mazda in worcester. Thier 42$ clamp i cant see, IMO i doubt they put a clamp there but, the car hasnt acted up since then. Unless there is an issue they know about and are not telling me, and are blaming the CAI, just like they were giving me a questioning about my HID hook up the car has been fine ever since then. Then again the 1st time i took it in it was ok for about a month before it started to act up again....

yah my mothers friends son is in the market for a car figured i would let him know about ya's if he decides to go thru on the deal, keep the car in the club and get a new member.

If you had a leak after the MAF it would make your car run like crap. Tightening a clamp probably was the correct fix.
