So now that I have a miata the rx7 is going in for a winter overhall which will address many things including but not limited to:
Interior Cleaning/Replacement of broken parts
S5 VDI intake mani
Custom Fiberglass Airbox
Repaint
Find out wtf is wrong with my Air Control Valve/ Solenoids
Reconnect stupid charcoal canister vac tube
Drink some wine I picked up in Napa with the Miata

I made a little progress tonight. I did a little precleaning. I installed the new demister grills and idiot cluster surround; all courtesy of mazdatrix. Most time was taken up with this little shift boot. I won a swatch of lambskin off ebay for 5 bucks so I borrowed the old lady's sewing machine for a little thread running. The fruits of my labor tonight. Enjoy:

This is some work I did earlier on the intake but I have to do some more design work because I didn't account for the amount of torquing the engine undergoes in the engine bay. The current design has too much rigidity since it has only one flex point between the charge tube and the air flow meter.
My revised box for simplicity of glassing. The other design was too complex and had too many convex sections
