CEL shows and if I reset the ECU it will come back VERY soon, 20 miles or so.

autozone code reader:

OBDII (Alpha) P Code: P0037

"The PCM has determined that the voltage signal for oxygen sensor 2 heater control in bank 1 is too low for the current engine operating conditions. (oxygen sensor 1 is closest to the cylinder head before the catalytic converter, while oxygen sensors 2 and 3 are located further downstream and are typically mounted in or after the catalytic converter) (Bank 1 identifies the location of the cylinder#1. While bank 2 identifies the cylinder on the opposite bank)"

I have the Corksport catless exhaust with the sparkplug nonfouler setup. And I have NOT had the stock flash, so my car runs rich too.

any suggestions on what I should do would be very helpful. Thanks

Try pm'ing 4drboost (Ian)... he has catless exhaust too and somehow found a way to shut his CEL off without having to go through the ECU- some way of tricking it to shut off.

from the research I've done, it looks like a MIL eliminator for me, there may be some wiring problems that are causing the CEL, because it's unlikely that the sparkplug defouler failed. So I'll see if a wire is fried and fix that first.

have you or do you have MPI? I had this same issue come to find out it was a bad solder on my 02 signal wire right where it plugs into the ecu. linuxracer also had a simular problem where he found the o2 signal wire was bearly hanging together where the wire goes into the plug that you plug the o2 sensor into. you might also want to check and make sure that the wire hasnt touched any thing hot in the engine where it could have melted or burnt.

Kyle, I hope my afro-engineering on the non fouler set up didn't cause this issue. Let me know cuz i would feel bad.

I'm going to check it out next week. Very busy on the weekends with work and going to ROCK FALLS! the CEL went off on its own yesterday, but it's back today and I reset the ECU for like the 10th time this week. I'll keep you all updated.

Well this is freakin' weird, went to rock falls and back and did some around the town driving, about 300 miles now and the CEL is still gone. It could have been bad gas? or its a wire problem that will come back? I'm happy though, can't be serious at all.

OK, so my wife only drives the car to school, pretty much. She's been on semester break for 2 weeks now and guess what? No CEL for 2 weeks! Her first day of class was yesterday so she was driving all day yesterday...CEL is back!

hmmm...maybe it could be my wife's back-a22 driving habits? I don't know, but that's what I'm thinking.
