Today's autocross carnage.

On my last run at a local autocross event, I heard a clunk after a series of faster, sweeping elements. I heard something dragging on the way to grid, and after backing up I found this litter guy. I don't know at which end it failed first. It's my front, driver's side end-link. It was on my best run too.

Just thought I'd share.

look to upgrade with endlinks for the ford escape by moot, a number of members have gone that route, or get a set of adjustable end links.

My guess is that it would be the mount. especially seeing that it is rusted pretty good and seeing your location listed as philly.

95% sure it's the tab on the strut.
I'll look into the moog endlinks, and I'm reading up on the Escape endlinks by moog.
I should check the SCCA rulebook first though. Even though I don't take it too seriously, I don't to be put in another class if I upgrade the wrong part.

Then again, I don't really see myself keeping stock ride height forever which means I'll be taken out of stock class anyway.
