Do I Buy, 1974 RX4 Coupe in a "Time Capsule"

Hello All,

I'm new to this forum and am seeking some advice. I have come across a Blue Mazda 1974 RX4 that looks like its been in a time capsule. Current one original owner is a 90 plus year old woman. The car has never seen a day of rain or stayed out of a heated garage-even on sunny days it was kept in doors. Her and her late husband only used it on rare occasions and to weekend car shows. To my surprise they even maintained the service beyond recommended by Mazda and kept all records.
The car is:
1974 RX4 Coupe (as mentioned) with Automatic Trans.
44000 original miles
Blue
Forgot to ask or check for AC option
All original A-Z as from day one
All service records and original bill of sale
All interior looks new as it was covered from day one
All chrome and paint looks brand new and shines as new-no scratches/dings
Never accidented or repainted ANYWHERE
It does not look like a 1974 but rather a new car

Here are my questions. Whats a car like this worth? What should I pay for it? I'm some what familiar with the Rotary Mazda's having owned a 1990 RX7 Turbo II in the past but that's the extent of my knowledge. I have tried to find information on the RX4 but have had little success. I can't even find out what the length and width of this car is.

Any information or advice would be nice.

Best regards

Max G

wow. wow. Have any pictures of it? Sucks that it's an automatic, aside from that it sounds like an amazing vehicle.

No Pics as of yet

I forgot to mention that its a Coupe in the title.
It truely is as if it were frozen in time. I wish it were not automatic either.

Whats it worth?

It is not really a classic, at least not here in the U.S. The only foreign cars from the 70s worth a lot of money here are European.

Hopefully you find something on the value. You could have a cool little car. Any pics?

Sorry no pics yet. Will try and get some but it will be a while as I do not have the car and its not close to me. I will not be seeing it again unless I decide to buy it.

kbb.com ???

also you could check online autotrader/ cars.com to see if any others are being sold and for about what price range.

KBB.com does not go back that far (1974) and none for sale on "auto traders" , "deals on wheels" , "ebay" , or "hemmings motor" either. Aside from a wagon for sale in California for $5000 US (not in this condition but a good one) I cannot find any others or any info.
I love the car but not enough to pay extra for my love affair. It is truely as it was when new.

I would still like to know the size of the car if anyone out there knows it please post size or guesstimate values.

thanks.
