To all that is going through Mazda America Credit

Everyone watch out...Mazda American Credit are the biggest pieces of crap...there trying to screw people outta money...they have supposivly lost 4 of our payments when we were even over paying them to get our car paid off quicker...someone is pocketing that money so we went to the honda/mazda dealership where we live and now there taking care of them..it may end up in a battle in court but we dont care cause they have NO RIGHT to take peoples money and denying there getting it and sending out threats saying you never paid them and then stating that they will repo your car..which is lies the dealership checked and it showed we werent even late on any of the payments nor was our car ever thought of being repoed...so anyone through them watch yourself and your car cause for no reason they will screw you over and its not just us the dealership guys told us its been alot of people/familys there doing this too..we just wanted to get the word out...so if any of you are having this issue go to the dealership you got the car from and tell them whats going on and have them take care of it cause if you dont you will get your credit all messed up and mazda will take you for all that they can!!!

somethin doesnt sound right...
all you need to do is go to your bank and have them provide you a statement that the checks were cashed...
thats usually easily tracked to an account it was cashed against...
isnt your statement somewhat too broad.. if the cause is one individual...

credit union financing FTW!

Quoted for truth. If you can't get financing from your local credit union, you are spending more for the car than you can afford to. Save up some more money or get something cheaper.

Yea I work at a business where some times rarely we get accused of not recording payments or some thing wierd like that. Checks are awsome because they show who and when they got cashed and credited towards. Worst case at my business, A) your check got lost in the mail and we never recieved it B) we recieved it and lost it some where in the other stacks of mail C) we thought we entered it but accidentally cancelled the payment at the last second.

There are other possibilities but in example A and B we would have never cashed your check and it would still be outstanding and you would still have the money in your bank and for whatever reason you need to cancel that check and send a new one and being nice guys we waive any late fees or threatening letters if we believe it was some kind of honest mistake or etc.

In situation C it is possible we cashed it but didn't enter it into the sytem. In that case you can show money was taken out of your account and should be able to work with them to make sure they recorded all of your payments. They should catch it before that happens because most businesses check their deposits against their bill records.

In any case, checks are awsome and there should be no confusion because the paper trail is obvious. Sorry to hear about your situation though.

i've gone through MNAC on three different cars and never had a complaint honestly. just my .02

no im not being broad just honest!!

i dont use checks and i have my reasons we were told when we got the car to use money orders there easier to track...so there being tracked ..and i can afford it thats not the prob im not gonna remain being ripped off....and i will clown them if i want i was just putting the word out ..but were not the only ones this is happening to its been hundreds of people..so dont just pin point me..thank you......and the dealership also agreed by looking at our account that they were ripping us off and there the ones that told us that they have dealt with the same issue the past few months with a couple dozen people that live in the same town we live in...so if you cant handle the nice input i had to tell you to just watch out so u dont get screwed..then oh well i dont want people to go through what me and my wife justwentthrough...and if u dont stick up for yourself against these companys that scam you for your money saying they never got it ...people walk all over you...so as of now all the money orders are being tracked and being reimbursed but thats not gonna stop mazda american credit from ripping off others ya know.......so now the dealership is probly gonna give us a new car but through honda..and mazda american credit is probly gonna be sued by us and others...and they deserve that for pocketing free money from innocent people....thank you for listening and just keep your eye out and stick up for yourself against them if any of u have any of the same issues..and go directly to the dealership you got the car from!!!

again man, good heads up

never hurt anyone to give them a heads up and let them know to watch out

Sorry to hear about what happen to you. My parents, brother, and I have been going through Mazda American Credit for several years now. We own 8 Mazdas and so far only one hasn't been paid off yet. We have never had any problems with them and we always make big monthly payments each month so we can pay off the cars earlier. Everytime we pay off a car the pink slip comes in the mail within 2 weeks. There are really quick in processing all the necessary paper works just to get that pink slip to us quickly. But sorry about what they did to you.

I thought Ford Motor Credit was doing that.???Wasn't that their little stake in Mazda, the finance side of things?
