Oh Man... My 205 55 16 tires rubbed the fender when i was driving with 2 friends in the backseats...... so im forced to go with 205 45 16??.... I dont understand why it would rub... i already went 16".... our stock was 17".... So if i have to change to 205 45 16 my only choices (all season tires) are Pirelli P7000 Supersport.. Hella $$ for me... and Yokohama Avid H4.... But H4 only has 450000km treadwear... Anyonme have experiences with them?? WheelGuru i need help !!! :mad: :mad:

I would do 205/50R16. 55 is a bit big, 45 is way small. Check it out

I don't see what the problem is, I have 205\55\R16 on mine, and have had 4 people in the car, and there is no rubbing? I have had no problems what so ever with the tires.

I WENT WITH 205/55 15 FOR MY WINTER TIRES. HAVENT PUT THEM ON YET ITS TO HOT. THESE WONT RUB WILL THEY THEY ARE A LITTLE SMALLER THEN THE STOCK RACING HART WHEELS AND TIRES

I JUST USED DOOMERS CACL AND IT SAID THE DIAMETER IS .4 INCHES SMALLER ON MY WINTER TIRES THAT MEANS THEY WILL BE .2 INCHES SMALLER WHICH MEANS THEY DEF. WONT RUB. AND I HAVE A LITTLE MORE ROOM FOR SNOW BUILD UP.

hey remember that even if the tire is shorter the width can rub when the car shifts side to side. some tire makers tend to run thinner than others like the pirreli p7000 tends to be more narrow than other tires. but the offset on your new wheels makes a difference so let me know what the offset is and i'll let you know what tire size to use!
