For those who know, is there really such a thing as too little/sidewall?
I don't care much for ride comfort so I was thinking of 215/35/18
But,
I was wondering if 215/40/17s would give me better performance over all (I'd like to get involved in local autoX)?
And also, would 215/40/17s be safer against wheel damage(its just a 1 cm difference in sidewall to the 215/35s)?
(Too many potholes around here after winter season)
One more, would the weight difference between 17 to 18 in. wheels contribute to performance (its only a 2lb difference)?
