does anyone know what the specs/warranty are on our stock tires on the p5??

i know they are dunlops and i heard the model # is SP5000 or something.

i tried lookin on their website for any information but couldnt find any. the dealer and the brochure didnt tell me much

its cold and dark outside, don't want to get out there and check, but they are P195/50R16, not SP5000, those are dunlops, they are bridgestone potenza though

Your tires are Dunlop SP5000's. The size is 195/50R16. They are V-rated tires, which means they are good to 149 mph. More importantly they are a high performance tire, they have stiff sidewalls and soft rubber compounds. Unfortunately there is no warranty on an O.E. tire. Even if there was, there would not be any kind of mileage warranty because of the V speed rating. If you rotate them every oil change, and are not to hard on them, they should last about 50,000 miles, give or take. If you need to know anything about tires, let me know, I work at a tire center.

cool, thats the info i was lookin for... thanks tireman660
i know it wont be another 3-4 years til i replace them, but how much will it cost for these types of performance tires??

thats interesting that Canada has bridgestone potenzas, i wonder whats the specs on those...

My P5 has the Dunlops. Haven't seen one up here with Bridgestones, but it's possible they're using those some of the time. 195/60R16 is a fairly odd size so there aren't that many tire choices out there if you want to keep the stock size.
