205 series would probably be as wide as you need to go. If you want a good tire sticky tire for the stock rim I would look into getting the new Falken Azenis RT-615 205/40-16 when they become available or you can get the Azenis Sport 205/55-16 now, but they are a little taller than I like. For the price of the Azenis I can afford to wear them out a little quicker than other tires.p5sucka said:what is the fattest tire you can fit on the stock 16x6 p5 rim. thats safe of course
That's my same rationalization.xelderx said:For the price of the Azenis I can afford to wear them out a little quicker than other tires.
What do you mean afford? Just use your Azenis on the front and scope the used tire bin at the dealership for something that will work. They have to pay to get those tires hauled off so you can have anything you want.Mazdaspeedgirl said:That's my same rationalization. But for some reason I have 3 sets of wheels for the miata, one wrapped in the Azenis, another in Yoko ES-100s (boom03), and the third set is waiting for me to afford some drift tires. (lol)
