Its illegal in Arizona to have any film, other than clear over any light.
i just moved from edmonton a few months ago... i tinted my taillights with the vht niteshades spray tint. not super dark, but definitely darker than stock and had no issues with the local police. as long as they're still reflective when light shines on them and you can EASILY see the brake lights when you're braking, you shouldn't have any issues. i also have tinted eyelids on my headlights - with the 03 headlights (ie, the black surround instead of the chrome) - and never had any problems.Hi, I live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and i was wondering if anybody from my area has installed tint (rockblocker) on their headlights and/or tail-lights and if they have had any problems with the LAW
Thanks
the spray can be bought at most "performance shops", maybe even places like Pepboys/Autozone (no idea what the american stores sell) for 15-20$ (it's more then that here).
And it's just like spray paint; it goes on the outside. I suppose you could bake the lights and put it on the inside, but that would be one big pain in the butt if you ask me, with possible problems of leaking and whatnot
Doesn't help that the Edmonton Mazda Club website is the slowest and deadest forum out there.
