hey everyone,
i am encountering an issue with me timing, i set it to TDC mechanically then 12 deg ignition timing as per the sticker on the hood, the car starts and runs but the timing is either to advance or retarded, there is no middle area and tried jumping the distro gear one tooth to the left and right but to resolve it didnt help any. is there something im missing? any applicable solutions?
what i did
TDC on cams and crank
then turned the crank counter clockwise to 12 degrees and set my distro to #1 TDC and fired right up

( i know it can cause rough ideal but dosen't affect timing)

has any one used an AMC universal FIC?
i cant get it to control my injectors properlly it just sprays 100% fuel all the time and floods the engine.
