Timing Problem

I just recently changed my timing belt and right after I start the car, the
engine was shaking and the rpm wont stay steady. I have followes the timing
marks and rotate the crankshaft lock bolt a lotta times to make sure that the
engine is timed correctly. Now I kknow for sure that when I look at the timing
marks tomorrow, its gonna be off. I am not quite sure what I'm doing wrong
here....can someone point me out to the right direction and tell me how to
resolve this?

Any help would b greatly appreciated.

Is it possbile for timing to get thrown off, without ever doing any changes to the timing belt or gears? Like just from normal wear?

Are the notches on your cam gears lined up correctly?

I'm pretty sure on this one because I tried not once but 3 times to make
sure that the marks meet and they do.

Theres a possibility that could happen but I'm hoping someone could tell
me how to prevent that. I will know tomorrow as I will check the timing.
