Tight 2nd Gear?

So I have my Speed6 for almost a week and so far I have noticed my 2nd gear is really tight. I can slide the shifter easily into 3rd through 6th, but second seems to take a little longer to grab during a down shift. You kinda have to hold it there for a second until you feel it grab.. then release the clutch.

Is this normal? I know first gear is even trickier to get into from a down shift, but that might be on purpose.

1st and 2nd have a safety guard that will prevent you from putting it into those gears at too high of an RPM. It is normal with a car that has a close ratio tranny like the Speed 6 has.

Ah cool thanks. I knew first gear had something to prevent a downshift when your going too fast for the gear.

Guess I just need to (RTM) more often!
