Throttle body swap?

Hi,
I'd like to know if a throttle body coming from, let's say a kl engine, which might be bigger in terms of inlet mm would fit on a 2.0l fs engine which only has 58mm inlet diameter and 55mm at the butterfly.

Thanks for any input!

a bigger throttle body on an NA car wont do anything. you cant just slap on
"upgrades" and assume youll just build horsepower. the parts have to be cohesive and work together.

read the link in that thread^

saying that a throttle body will "do nothing" for an NA car is a very broad and far reaching comment.

It may do something....however, my calculations would suggest, that given a near perfect intake manifold (which, by the way, we don't have at all), that a SMALLER throttle body would be in order...(we're marginally oversized).

But, on a lossy as hell protege manifold, there could be marginal upper midrange to top end gain out of a larger throttlebody.
