on the way home from dallas. reset the ecu, no problems, about a 100 miles later i was home. i wonder if im gonna have to reset every once in awhile. i prolly have close to 1k miles on the CEL fix (mil eliminator) with no problems until tonight. im hoping thats what it was, but if it was the cel fix not working anymore, would the ecu reset have worked? i was under the assumption that it shouldnt, and the cel should have come back on immediately. i checked all around for oil leaks and other misc things, but could find nothing.

Mmmm, maybe running so rich right now, that computer wants you to check it, no matter what the fix does. SInce you still have two O2, the first one cant still send the code (my assumption).

It may be related to something completely different...unless the MIL fix's wiring has problems...How did you splice it in there?

Get the reader. Shoot! For a hunnert and fifty i can T/S, repair and re-set codes - without wiping out the memory in the radio ev'ry freekin' time!!

(bang)

You can pick up a reader for a buck fity at advanced auto parts, an actron OBDII autoscanner CP9135. It will read, erase and some more, but I haven' t read about the other stuff yet.
