Thoughts on this deal?

2010 speed3, 3500 miles, no tech package, comes with extra wheels with snow tires installed (snow tires have 3000 of the miles) claimed $1500 value, "like new" condition, no mods, $20,000

seems like a good deal to me. If I was to buy new I'd probably spend at least $22000, and then have to spend $1500 or so to get extra wheels and snow tires. So in affect, it is $3500 off of what I'd spend if I bought new.

That seems like a decent deal. You could always low ball it a bit more and see if you can get another $500 out of them.

OK deal. I got my new for 21.8K at similar package. If the warranty transfer over OK than it is good.

Does this private seller OWN the car (including the title)? Keep in mind if he/she is still making payments on the car they will have to take your money to pay off the loan then wait for the title to come in.

Just beware of that before going through with it this. Not to mention you having to pay it off in one lump sum. I'm assuming you already have your own loan and can write this person a 20k check, and/or you have the cash to pay it off?

I bought my '10 Speed with 4,000 or 6,000 miles on it. I can't remember anymore..I paid around $18k from the dealer --BUT I also work there...and I can see what kind of deal I'm getting. I'd say you're getting a VERY good deal if you're getting all the different goodies with it. I'd go for it! Did you ask why they were selling it so soon?

i think that sounds like a good deal. the lowest i got otd was $24,100 w/o tech package
