Thoughts on these vinyl designs

Well I'm posting because I was thinking of putting some side graphics on the car when I get my taxes back. I know that some of you just despise vinyl but I think if it's more on the subtle side then it will add to the cars looks rather than take away from. I'm looking at some designs from silent rage. So far they seem to have the nicest that I've seen. Plus someone on this board has a car with their graphics. It's a blue P5 and I thought their car looked really nice. I photochopped a few looks onto this car pic I saved from the web. (tirerack.com possibly?) I can't remember. Anyway here goes. Opinions would be appreciated. My idea is to do the color slightly darker than the paint but still a shade of silver. The purple shade was just to try a different color as they all pretty much look the same. Let me know what you all think. Thanks. I do have purple for the accent color just so you know.

I guess if it was out of those four I'd go with the first one, however I'm not a fan of any of them really. Not to be negative or bash your ideas......just my 2 cents

Did you mean mine? If so..thanks ! LOL

I'd go w/ the 2nd decal. That decal actually sits higher up on the car like almost under the windows and is also stretched out longer. I think that would be the best one to go with. My friend has that exact same one on his RSX. Looks very good. I'm trying to find a pic.

Yep your car was the car I remember funky. Just couldn't remember who's it was. I like how it's don't stand out and look tacky like some decals. Your's enhances the look of your car I think. Not gonna comment on you vinyl haters out there :-P jk lol. But damn 66 views appr. and only 2 people said anything? Come on guys and girls! Thanks so far though.
Funky did you install them yourself or were you able to get a silent rage installer to do it? And how long did it take to get them?
I really like the linda (the one with the face) decal personally but any of the others would do as well.

IMO I like the last one best, it fits the flow of the car. I think you have a good idea and I'd love to see pics when you get it done. (2thumbs)

What is Silent Rage's website? I went to silentrage.com and got some sort of search thingie instead. Thx!

I'd go for the second one if I had to choose any. just make it seeping up like in funky's car

#1: not a fan of the rounded boxes, looks a little goofy to me
#2: looks ok, but a little boring for some reason. Are those real characters? Does it say anything?
#3: looks like a bird crapped on your car(sorry, not trying to be an ass, that's just what I see)
#4: I think the design is pretty cool, but the color ain't so nice, and might look better if it was slightly lower down on the car.

Sorry to be so negative, but I'm not a huge fan of vinyl's. I do think Funky's is very well done. I agree with vindication, the slanting up is more attractive.

Again....not another fan of vinyl...but if I had to choose...I'd go with #1. But please don't go with purple. That's the first time I've seen it on silver (or just about anywhere) and it just doesn't go IMHO.

Since I didn't have too many good things to say about the vinyl's given, I will say what I like about funky's. IMO it adds a sense of motion which I think is nice. It compliments the lines of the car in a certain way, and looks very clean. Subtle coloring, nothing outrageous. That's what I think looks good on a car. [/2cents]

As far as I know they don't mean anything but then again I wouldn't know that language if it was one lol. And the purple was just for fun since it is one of my favorite colors. Whichever vinyl I end up getting it's going to be a shade or two off the original car color. Nothing that might cause temporary blindness or seizure.

Thanks for the comments guys and girls. I do appreciate it. I know some are thinking "NO, DON'T GO VINYL!!". But hey you might actually like it once it's done.

Oh yeah Luke? Bring on the billet chopsticks baby!! jk But really I could use them as hair sticks. They're billet so I might get more horsepower and miles per gallon just by using them while in my car!

the first one almost looks like it says "o-te-shii" in katakana, but i really don't think that's the case.

yes, i speak japanese...so if you need something translated let me know...i might respond before the hawaiian posse chimes in:)

#4 imo......... and unlike alot of others i like vinyl.......
gets attention at shows if that is your goal.....

Pancake - They didn't install for me. The reason was they were pretty backed up on installs for a car show the next day. I got my vinyl the day before the show so I had some friends help me. If it's your first time, bring lots of water in spray bottles with you. So when you apply the vinyl you can move it around on the car while it's still wet. As soon as it dries..good luck ;)

And for everybody else..no they don't mean anything. No words or characters.
