So I installed the SS last night and I must say, "what a big difference"!
Quality of the piece is very very good.
Installation is easy. Hardest part is releasing the tabs that hold the bottom cup in. Thanks to the special 'tools' that TWM includes, it wasn't that bad. As an aside, do all short shifter kits come with a special 'tool' to aid in installation? When I got the Diesel Geek short shifter for my TT, the kit included a bent nail to keep the shifter in the right orientation while installing the parts.
Feel is good. The action is more direct and about twice as heavy as stock. The best thing is the 2-3 miss that I sometimes had, even after installing the TRZ MM, is gone.
Thanks TWM for making a standout product.
