those with MS3 TWM shifter...

did you notice if the spring for reverse (the spring that controls the depression of the knob for reverse) seems weaker than the stock spring?

i just put this thing in, with the bushing setup they offer, but anyway it seems like during spirited shifting, the knob moves down a bit w/ some of the shifts. i didn't notice this at all with the stock shifter.

anyway, the bushings make it a little too firm and overly direct, something i didn't think was ever possible. i ground a couple shifts today testing it out....i am going to see how it feels with the CS insert installed and go from there. it might be a mismatch of components, whereas the shifter end of things is dialed, but the mount is allowing some movement that is still altering the shifting action.

i have the stock shifter and replacing the mount did wonders for me, so I'd agree that its a good mod to try

anyone?

I have the ss, I noticed the downward even with stocker. As to the bushings, I didn't put mine in yet, got them after the ss.

My reverse lockout spring seems to have gotten weaker since I got the car. I have 17,000 on the odometer and it has recently started happening to me that I will find myself unintentionally in the reverse slot when looking for first gear. Thank God I haven't actually shifted into it.
I have added the solid bushings and do not see any difference in this problem, but overall shift quality has improved.

You guys gotta lay off the spinach. (freak)

Are there any aftermarket options for this?

Cool, I am the youngest of 3 and live in FL. I actually drove up to Philly and bought my MS3 from him. Is that how you know him too? You buy from him?

i actually got my car through my broker, but it came from faulkner. i ended up contacting jose using the online thing to track my car as it was delivered to his place, and we ended up meeting when i came up to get it. then he found out i follow boxing and he was instantly my best friend hahaha

he talks about you alot. glad to see he's not lying about his bro with the ms3! you know those salesmen...haha

but yeah, if i had to send anyone in the tri-state to a dealer, i'd send them to him. he's a great dude.

Oh god, boxing. Yeah, that sets him off. My dad is a huge fan as well. Don't know if he mentioned (sarcasm), but he used to compete. I joined him for a little while when I was in high school and he is quite talented. You won't believe how hard he can hit. Not only that, he's a southpaw so it's that much harder to get away from his left hand. Just gotta keep moving to your left, you know? ;)

Thanks for the plug for him. He really is the most honest guy ever and a great family man and brother. His wife is now pregnant with their second kid (cabpatch) That's great because I have loved being an uncle to the first one.

How did I turn out so messed up??? (uhm)
