Those Sons of a Bitches

Here's my story. I will apologize in advance if I stray but I am still pretty steamed and I need to vent.

After work today, my wife and I went to dinner. Luckily we go there before it got crowded. I parked up on the curb near where we usually sit at this particular establishment so I can keep an eye on my "baby". We go seated on the other side of the restaurant. DAMNIT:mad: I figured: "Hey, no big deal. We will only be here for 45 minutes to an hour. My MP5 will be fine.... alone...and scared for that amount of time." We have dinner and by this time the place has a wait to be seated. We walk out the door and there are 2 college punks actually SITTING on my hood with there feet up on the front bumper!!!:mad:  Pissed does not begin to explain what I was. I wanted to rip the cigarette out this guy's hand and stick the hot ember in both of his eyes then shove the extinguished butt up his a$$ (no pun intended). Instead, I walked up to the guy and his buddy and asked them, very nicely I might add, if they were comfortable. They were polite and got off my ride and apologized but that still didn't excuse the fact that they were there to begin with. I didn't say a word while I checked the car for scratches, dents, etc. (none visible) To avoid confrontation I just got in the car and drove away, but God-Damnit I was fuming. My wife reminded me after we got in the car that there was an article in Sport Compact Car a few months ago about a similar situation. I had forgotten all about it until she reminded me. Then I got even more ticked because it goes to show how inconsiderate people are nowadays.

Sorry for the novel but I had to get that off my chest.

Thanks for being there FORUM

Look on the bright side... no damage. I got keyed a couple of weeks ago and now the whole passenger side of my P5 has to repainted. It was a similar situation. I was going to Target with my wife and we debated which car to take, my silver P5 or her '02 Saturn L200. Well, we took my car. I parked carefully, not too far away, but still not next to other cars. Well, as my wife was checking out I said I'd go get the car. Everything seemed normal since I obviously got in on the driver's side. Well, when I picked her up she got a shocked look on her face. Some stupid punks keyed me all the way from the passenger mirror to the back tail light.

It goes in the shop next week. :(

I am a Juinor in high school and I am scared to leave my car in the parking lot. Not like am not an adult but, these kids today not have any respect. I had a 93 ranger from the day I could drive to the day i got the p5 (wich i love). But i pulled up to school i had just got my windows tinted and a system put in there. I rolled up Bumppin and was winding first out of that 4cyr. Just messing round. Now my school is only a 2A and i know all the juniors. Well once school got out i found out that i had one dint on the driver's side door. i didnt get if fixed but i confronted the person who parked next to me and he denied the hole thing and sayed he didnt park there that day. i was ready to fight. But i told him that if i found out that he did it, that i was coming for him. AND I DID! he got his in the end!:D

that sucks guys, Like you said, people have no respect for one another. I am sorry. IKnowURespectIt, what do you mean he got his in the end, what did you do. You can't leave us hanging like that.

I've already had to fix 4 dings on my P5 - from inconsiderate assholes who don't care to control their doors when opening them.

It's not just strangers who do this kind of crap - a bunch of years ago, I had just had my car pianted - I mean it had JUST come from the shop that day. I'm hanging out in this parking lot, and I walk to the 7-11 to get a drink - I come out, and one of my "friends" is sitting on the hood! I tell him to get the **** off, and he SLIDES off, putting a nasty gouge down the hood with the rivet in his jeans. I nearly killed him. At least he paid for the damage. Freakin' bonehead.

Just goes to show you - people have no sense or consideration at all.

I know how all your guys feel....I get pissed and mad easliy....
One day I went grocery shopping with my mom in my P5.......But she was just gonna get some milk so I decide to wait for her in the car coz I didn't want anything happen to my baby....Anyway......There was a parking spot beside me and a car parked right in.......I was just in the car chilling and listening to my music......
The car parked beside was a Toyota Camery.....Guess it was a couple...Wife and husband...They looked pretty mature.......When the wife was coming out.......I saw her door opening really fast....Than I got scared for that 1 second that it might hit my car but it didnt so I was relaxed......BUT !!! as she was coming out of her car......She hit her door with her FAT ass and hit my side passsnger door......She was grabbing something in the car on her way out so her FAT ass hit her door......
You guys know what I mean ?? So I stared at her with a pissed off look.....She didn't even care or say sorry and the husband looks at me and her wife because it hit my car so damn hard it made a loud bang.....Guess her husband heard it too........ANYWAY !! THey just walked off........
After they got into the store....I kindly took my keys of of the ignition.....Got out of my car......AND STARTING KEYING IT !!! OO..........THAT FELT GOOD !!!!

I know you guys hate people keying your car....But I had to...I am sorry......

Are you serious? You actualy took the keys out and keyed it? WOW!! that takes guts. I could never do that, no matter how pissed I am.

i seriously hope you werent serious about keying the other persons car. that was truly WRONG if you did. whatever you choose to do to your own car is your choice, but purposely vandalizing anothers property just shows that you're no better than they were...what goes around comes around.

all that is said with the assumption you were serious...if you were joking...then :D

Hey Midnight Blue....

I usually don't do that unless people really pisses me off....If that lady said sorry I would of been okay....But you should of been there and see her looks after she hits my car.....one of those I-DON'T-GIVE-A-LOOK..........

I tend to park away from other cars in parking lots. I do it with both the Durango and (if it's not being repaired in a body shop that week) the MP3. I find amazing how little some people care about their cars. And it goes to figure that if they don't care about their car, your's is toast.

I've owned POS cars and even then I would not slam a door into another car.

I've gotten that same look from a woman that hit my old minivan so hard it ROCKED. I was sitting inside it reading and enjoying a cold soda and wham! Same "It's your fault for parking here!" look. She did it twice. I jackbooted her door.

I can relate to all you guys as well, my car has been in the shop for some dents and a keying. Insurance paid for most of it but it was such an inconvience and bummer that i dont want to go through that again. My work is close by my house and even though i look like a loser i would rather walk than leave my P5 in the parking lot for 8-9 hours.

Dude, keying someone's car is just plain wrong. So what if that woman rubbed your ride with her big fat ass? You decide to damage their property because of the LOOK she gave you? You said yourself there was no damage. Ever hear of no harm, no foul?

The only time I EVER did anything like this is when I was parallel parked and some joker decided he was gonna park up my ass but leave half a car-length of room behind him. I could barely get out of the spot. So I put my (POS at that time) ride in reverse and gave his bumper a whack, setting off his alarm. But no damage.

Sorry to say, but it's too bad there were no security cameras in that parking lot to catch you keying that car (even though I really don't believe in such "Big Brother" -type things).

You say it felt good - but I'm betting you still feel guilty about doing it, because you know you were dead wrong.

If you are kidding about this, it's time to let us all off the hook.

Story!!

My car has been EGGED twice!!!
Once at PORM parked on school ground!!!
Once in front of my house!!!
So PISSED!!!
THOSE ARE ALL A$$HOLE!!!

well I am not going to jump on the bandwagon here with another story....insted I am going to offer a SOLUTION to you all who have either found people sitting on your car OR fear that someone might.....

Go to a reputable shop and have an alarm installed that has motion sensors......IF you were the inconsiderate bonehead that was doing this sort of thing...and you were anywhere and you plopped your butt down on someones ride and the alarm went off would you keep it there? I think now....I would not only get off but leave! why draw attention to yourself.

Its ONE suggestion and solution. :D

You are the man. Always the voice of reason:D I am off from work today and had planned on going hunting for an alarm. I agree. If I was the one that had done it an alarm had gone off, I would haul a$$ and never look back.

On another note I have to agree with everyone on this board. Keying someone's car because they put a dent in your's is a pretty lousy thing to do. A dent can be fixed easier than an entire side needing to be painted. I know emotions can boil over at times but you have to have a little composure in these situations. I am almost surre everyone here has at one time or another either accidentaly or on purpose opened their door and hit another car. Just count your blessings they didn't key your car for doing it.

Thanks for the similar stories of inconsiderates. It's nice to know I'm not alone.

Re: SirNuke

well thanks.....something else....I too agree that one bad turn doesn't deserve another....HOWEVER, it certainly pisses you off when it happens...and ESPECIALLY when you witness it and the person KNOWS you witnessed it and they dont' even offer an appology? THAT pisses me off.....for them....make yourself some cards....if you have a program like WORD or anything that you can print envelopes and lables with you can make business cards...and you can buy the cards in sheets really cheap at walmart...ANYWAY....come up with a nice FLAMING card to let them really know that you saw them...and how you feel....keep them in the glove box or your "arm rest storage" and if it happens....put one under their wiper or stuck in the door between the window and the rubber.....it sends a message....you could always include on it something to the effect that you have their licence number and you are turning it in and that YOUR insurance company will be contacting them. :{D

Well once i found out who it was i found him (off School grounds of course) and had i put on my class ring and broke his nose. then he swung back and in the end i left him with a broken nose and a couple of bruised ribs and i was left with a headache!

Damn, we have some real steam headed people here. I must say, I am not a fan of violence at all. I don't even like to watch boxing. I kinda like that idea of the business cards. That, depending on what type of culprit (sp.?) it was, should scare them somewhat. I remember one story, a friend of mine was giving a ride for another friend. The passenger in hist maybe 6 month old car at the time had opened the door and the car next to them parked like an idiot (way too close to the line) and my friend's friend tried his best to prevent the door from hitting the car as he got out, but a gust of wind came and he couldn't control the door and the door slammed into the car. My friend pretended to be really pissed about it cause it made a loud bang. He then walked to the other side of the car to see a Big dent in the edge of the door. Like the end part of the door is bent inwards a bit. He didn't do anything cause he knew it was an accident but the dent is still there. It I guess makes for a good story, Meh, nevermind.

Well I have an MP3 sob story too. When I got my car last summer I was very excited, I picked it up on a Friday. I even had the dealership put in an upgraded alarm. Monday morning I went to my new baby to go to work and when I opened the door the only thing I saw was wires dangling! Someone had smashed out my window on the passenger side and stole my stereo, and carved up my center console. I was pissed!! The alarm NEVER went off!! I called the dealership where the owner told me that my MP3 "will attract good attention as well as bad, and I should've been prepared for this." After calling insurance companies the police, I finally get my Welcome to the Mazda family call, where I told them about their great dealership. I was able to get a refund for the alarm that they "forgot" to put in (I found out later), and they reimbursed my insurance deductable.
I no longer deal with that Mazda place. I was ready to sell my car, I'm very happy I didn't.
