This is the summer I get my Miata. No more ******* around.


I don't care if I have to get a loan or how much it will cost me. Everyone post your Miata pictures so I can be more depressed untill I get mine.

Gotta love the free hard top and the '99 15" wheels with Yokohama ES100s that I traded some 14" Protege wheels/crappy tires for at work off of a whole sale beat to hell '99 Miata.

Get a used one off Ebay for super cheap and spend the rest of your money modding it. (thumb) I wouldnt spend more than 4-5k on one.....its a waste IMHO. (thumb)

Though, I've had so many damn people telling me to paint it, asking when I'm going to paint it, and asking why I would buy a grey hard top for a black car.


But yeah, Pluto, get one ASAP. Driving one IS amazing. It's like you're a celebrity, everyone looks at you and smiles. Rather they look at the car, the grey hard top, and laugh and smile, but I've never had so much fun at a red light than pointing back at them and laughing at thier big SUVs and boring mid sized cars. (hah)

This was from my last visit to the dyno. The AFM was having problems at high revs at the time, so its about 1200rpms short of the full chart. So I guess roughly 185-190hp at that time. I have done some tweaking since then. I have alot to do for this summer and plan on passing the 250 mark. The car as it stands is super fast...but thats only at 8psi.

I liked the Miata stock, it was definitely fun to always be pushing the car to make power....but now its just a machine. (thumb)

oh, it also doesn't have to be summer to ride with your top down. i frequently drive from my house to work with the top down in 30 sometimes 20 degree weather, but that's cause i'm stupid.
