Mopar Performance Parts Warranty
Mopar Performance Parts are sold "as is," without any warranty whatsoever. Implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are excluded. The entire risk as to quality and performance of such parts is with the buyer. Should such parts prove defective following their purchase, the buyer and not the manufacturer, distributor or retailer, assumes the entire cost of all necessary servicing or repair.
Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep vehicle and parts warranties are voided if the vehicle or parts are used for competition or if they fail as a result of modification.

ROFL. At least that's one place we may be making out. According to my dealer (Smail Mazda, near Pittsburgh) they will cover any Mazda (and Mazdaspeed) parts that they install under the original vehicle warranty. Now they would just offer something that we don't already have. . .

I know its a good platform, but they DO have traction problems. As Dave Carson once said, "If your tires arn't spinning out of the turn, your not driving a Neon right". They have real bad problems with that.

Lets see here, LSD is going to be at LEAST $1200, if not more. Then another $X amount in turbo upgrades. At LEAST $1000 for a good set of coil-overs...your looking at a $24k car right there.

Quaife made Mopar LSD is pretty much set at $1000-$1200. KYB adjustables and Eibach springs around $800 and camber bolts around $40. TurboXS has a boost controller on the market NOW. $129 and the SRT4 was dynoed @ 260whp and 294ftlbs. So for $2000-2200 the SRT4 would outhandle and outpower the cars in it's category as well as many others. So that is $22 000 (roughly)

I would love to see you SRT guys at the track this weekend when we run auto-x. Better bring your boost controller and all the coilovers you can buy. I'm going to bring a loaded cooler and a tire gauge. Wanna race?

sounds all good to me, but in my opinion....it's still a Chrysler product which is thumbs down. After my family's 94 Grand Cherokee broke down for the 1291248th time (1st one after the 1st month), we vowed never to buy domestic again, especially Crysler. Now we have a 2003 All Black Nissan Xterra (thumbs up, it looks like the Tango and Cash SUV) with no problems, . But hey, whatever floats your boat u know?

Birmingham is great if you know where to go.......atlanta. Anyway, it's not like canada has anything to offer but natural resources and who needs those nowadays. We make everything artificcialy now anyway. One of these days the USA is going to look at canada and say," Hey, canada....get out.". It'll be a bad day to be a frenchy then! Can your neon outrun the patriot 2 missle?!! hahaha, sorry, just pickin.

Yes, you can get a Quaife LSD for $1000-1200...but who's going to install it? Not you, sorry. This is not an average 'back-yard mechanic' job. 2 of my friends(bshaun@clemson.edu for one, the other will remain anonymous) just wanted to have their rear-end put back together, nevermind a new LSD put in, and it was over $500 MINIMUM...no matter WHERE they went. Go ahead and ask, its not cheap. And if you get some idiot to do it, or do it yourself, your asking for trouble/problems.

I did not mean stock replacment springs or those crap-ass 'coil-overs'...I meant the REAL ones, like JIC, Apex'i, HKS, Tein, etc etc etc. They all cost $1000+ each.

Yes, thats nice. A boost controller will do that, but is that the 'MOPAR' upgrade everyone is talking about? If so, then I will retract my previous statment.

So add another $500. And I wonder if the $400 Mopar kit will add more hp on top of all that, as it has new ECU and higher flow injectors.....Seems like 19psi and not sacrificing the motor is a possibility.
