i had no change in gas mileage with a K&N cone directly on my MAF, and had no drop in mileage when i got my intake on.

my car felt like s*** and hesitated left and right.
almost stalled a few times.......maybe it was hot LA weather.......arround 110 at that time.

How can a boost guage that gives a reading point to a boost leak? I could see if you took off the MBC and it was reading a 1-2psi, but there has to be pressure to keep the needle where it is. Almost all other car manufacturers include a boost guage or offer it as an option and they don't seem to have the hang up.

First, if you increased your boost, you really should change to colder plugs. I suggest this even at stock boost. Platinum plugs run to hot for a boosted application.

Second, I have a thread about this, and treanding it.(search for it cause Im too lazy to right now :D ) I did reset my PCM saturday nite, and drive highway for a little over 400 miles, and used about 1 and 1/4 tank. PRETTY good gas mileage there.

Other then that, tell the dealer to STFU. Unles youreally do have a vac leak on the boost gauge line. (because that can cause your car to run UBER rich)

I have been dealing with HORRIBLE gas mileage for the last 2 months. I'm not talking about the typical stuff, I'm talking about 160 MILES ON A TANK OF GAS. I bring it to the ******* dealer and they tell me its because I have a damn boost gauge. They say its causing a vacuum leak (which I know it ******* isnt) and thats what is dropping my mpg. These are the same people that told me the reason my battery was going dead all the time because I has installed a different headunit.

Any buddy else having horrible gas mileage like this?
I am having the EXACT same problem, its like the ecu learned how I like to drive and now EATS gas, im getting less than 200 miles per tank and im not pushin it all the time, WTF?! I think it has to do with the ECU flash, on my 03 speed I was unflashed and had no such problems

oh and my car is COMPLETELY stock

i am currently running stock with 93 or 94 octance gas (depending on whats nearby on fillup) and getting 320-340 city driving, almost 380-400 highway, and around 340ish 50/50. These #s are based on approx. 12-13 gallon fill-up

Just thought I'd say that I'm running 93octane with a K&N on an elbow, relocated coolant resivoir (blocks some more heat), colder plugs, royal purple racing 21 oil, mbc at a somewhat higher than stock setting and I put my foot in it quite a bit and at the lowest I've had around 280. Highest was 360ish.

I can understand the low mileage with mods, but not stock. Or if you're 18 and drive like a bat out of hell, I can see that, too. But I'm currently getting 24-26mpg city / 34-36mpg hwy. I have 6,000 miles, am completely stock, and don't rag on it. No problems with mileage, leaks, hesitation...anything. If this fits your situation and you are still experiencing mileage that poor, you should probably prepare for a duel-out with the dealer!

im actually gotta check howmuch mileage im gettin but if im esitmatin right i only get about 200 average from a ful tank.....this suxs.

Are these KM's or Miles??

I get about 250mi per tank, but I only put $20 in each time, and at $1.75/gal, that isn't a full tank. This last time I filled it up, and next time I'm going to fill it up, so I'll see what kind of gas mileage I'm getting.
