Here are a few pics of our new 2004 MPV ES

Cosmic Sand Metallic
200-hp 3.0L V6
5-speed auto tranny
leather interior
HUGE sunroof
6-CD changer w/ 9 speakers & subwoofer
power sliding rear doors

We are in love with this vehicle. I never thought I'd own a minivan, but this thing convinced us not to buy the Mazda6 Sport Wagon.

It's definitely the Mazda of minivans -- it's got "zoom-zoom" written all over it. I wish my P5 had that sport grille and those black headlight/foglight housings!

Nice every time I see one (a few a day, there is a huge dealership in my town) I always dream of having a hot minivan like that when I have a family haha. They look so freakin sporty, interior, exterior.

wow not bad! I want 200hp! Anybody wanna figure a MPV --> p5 engine swap? lol...

Yeah the MPV's are pretty nice - I like them a whole lot better than those fugly dodge caravans and stuff.(whip)

The only thing: I hate tiny exhausts. I don't have any "size" issues, but I just like a bigger pipe on the end...(2thumbs)

I like it.
I was going to buy a Honda Odessey before I nought the MSP and put a body kit ,bags ,and twenties on it.So I guess I am kinda partial to the mini van.The hondas were outrageaous though in price,EVEN USED.They were easily going for 20K+.

LOL! (rotfl) Yeah, that's what I need. (rofl2) Seriously... I think the factory 17" alloys are awesome compared to other OEMs!

Wow... a Honda Odyssey with twenties! That would be fun to see! I bet that would cause a few heads to turn!!! (hah)

How much it cost before tax?

I wentto delaership last week and i see that Van..WOW....way better thn the new Nissan Quest and Toyota Sienna.

the mpv is the nicest minivan (and ive heard its quite nimble as well) but i could never buy a minivan. i vow to never own a soccermom-mobile, regardless of how many kids i have

will those mpv rims fit a p5? they are pretty nice

btw, i think they should rename it since mpv = mazda protege van. maybe they should call it the m3v (mazda3 van), since it looks like a mazda 3 on steroids

Your Driving one. It's called a wagon. j/k Then again, I see a lot of mom's driving p5's, as well has older folks for some reason.

The MPV is the only van besides the Honda I like. I'd prefer the Honda overall, but they are pricey for sure. I had a mpv for few days, very similar to that. Buddy of mine is a MAzda Salesman. I actually enjoyed driving it considering it was a minivan.

Agreed, the MPV has all kinds of potential. Even Kenstyle thinks so. Oh if only I could afford another brand new vehicle...

Wow, that looks really really nice. And I thought the new nissan vans were cool.

While we are on Slammed import vans ShawntheMonster(old P5 board member) has a dropped Previa now.

Hmm I always figured MPV was "multi-purpose vehicle" (as the earlier generations were on a truck frame) or "multi-passenger vehicle" (as they were .. vans).

I hope when I have a family and need a minivan that there are still minivans that cool.

The MSRP was $29.9k. With S-Plan and $3k cash back, we drove it off the lot for about $24.5k.

Sorry for the late response -- I'm travelling on business and I'm having to use this stupid TV internet thing in my hotel room.

that is indeed very nice.
i have a Q though
from outside, it looks smaller than lets say a dodge caravan or toyota sienna

but, now that you have one, is it pretty spacious from inside?
and how about gas mileage?

but, dude, congrats, that is one tight ride to be rolling around with, lol!!!!!!!

mpv's are really nice, i picked one up on a lease for my folks january 03...it definately has zoom zoom all over it...we might trade it in and get an 04...maybe...this thing is great...
