Think I blew a fuse, car won't start

I mistakenly brushed a screwdriver across an open 16 awg wire connected to a 10 amp fuse (I believe it was F45 accessory switch for power mirror). Anyone know how to fix this issue? I'm going to replace the fuse with little faith it will work. I can't understand how an accessory fuse will prevent the car from turning over.

Any help would be appreciated... thanks

Fuse F45 is fed through the ignition switch from fuse F11 in the main fuse panel under the hood. It is possible you took that one out too.

As for the pretty lights, try sticking your tongue on the wire, that'll do it.

Is the main fuse panel fairly easy to access? If it's located adjacent to the battery, I think I know where it is. Thanks for the info

Yup, easy. On the drivers side, there is a panel you can open with a simple tab. Lots of good places you can put your tongue if you want the pretty lights effects!

Good luck, it should be an easy fix.

I blew a couple fuses once on my MS3 and the car wouldnt turn over and the horn wouldnt work. I just replaced them and eveything was fine.

I replaced all the fuses I touched and it still won't start. I looked under the hood and pulled out the ignition fuses. Are these fuses I can pick up at the local auto store? I can't tell if they're blown - they look fine to me.

Good call on the ignition fuse. Apparently you gotta look at something a few times before it registers. One of them ended up being burnt. Thanks!
