Thermal cover msp pipes

this car very hot under the hood the plastic pipes go hot hot very hot when the car change to rich about 4000 rpm the charge air is to hot and the combustion efectivines down creating a very rich condition im put a cold air induction to the stock air box relocating the coolant bottle and cover all intake pipes with thermal tape resist 2000oF test today and eliminate 90% hesitation im test tomorrow because today is a fresh day 80oF im put a thermometer in the stock air box when the car run, the temperatureis ten 10 degres more than out 80-90oF
In the trafic jam the temperature up to 158o F when exit from the jam the car take the normal temperaturein about 3 - 5 minutes 80-90oF in all my day only have one case of hesitation 4500-5000 before have 25- 30 cases 4000-5500
in my car only need cover the pipe from the air box to the turbo and the pipe part near to the trotlebody
im think when cover all the hesitation as gone forever
Im test tomorow because are a hot day in PR 95-110oF

this weekend im finish to cover all the pipes

DO you think that it might just be that you cooled the air going into the Stock air box and not the rest of the wrapping that is causing the better response?
If so we could just do that.......

I want one msp orange without any hesitation

Is very important the Cold Air Intake new or the stock air box with CAI check my other post
when put the tape not cut in any moment only when cover all the part of the pipe and put one brace on the both sides of the pipe in the begining of the tape and in the end.
is very important not put tape in the flexible part of the pipes for durability

I worry that the hesitation will be gone "for now" but inevitably come back - similar to when you reset the ECU and it's good for a while.
That's just total speculation though --- keep us posted - this would be the kind of fix I'd like the most - really easy.
im run the car for 3 days with minimal hesitation only when pass the intake temperature over 120o F im run more than 275 miles on the odometer.
im not reset the ecu in any moment
when you reset the ecu the hesitation is gone by 1 hour when the car is hot this is come back in PR all the day is 95 to 100o F
only one time reset the ecu when the car is hot the s*** hesitation is come back this is 30 minutes later.

mazda know the truth this car is very hot under hood the prototype use silicone pipes to cover from the hot ,this type of pipes are expensive 2000 cars.
The other solution is a more biger intercooler for 2000 cars
the original intercooler is from a mazda diesel from europe one small car with a small motor diesel.
mazda use silicon hoses for the coolant not for the turbo pipes downing cost
one yearfor one fix wit 15 person work onit this sound very estrange or not

This weekend I am going to put thermal insulating jacket w/ radiant shealding around all of the intake pipes from the end of the CAI to the turbo, from the turbo to the IC, & from the IC to the throttle body. You can buy this stuff in sheets a few feet large. Then to flash it up a bit (providing even more thermal resistance in the prosses), I will then cover all of that with a lace up style of shiney radiant pipe covering. YES, heat soaking back into the intake piping is a common cause of HP loss. Plus cooling down the charge air temps will also help prevent detonation. Keeping the charge air temps down is why some people go with a FMIC, NO2 IC sprayer, or both.
