the tornado intake add on?

I was just wonderin if anyone has thought about or actually bought one of those tornado full/hp increaser thingy. I was researching it today online and its about 70 bucks and supposidly it gives ya quite a bit more mpg and at max 13 hp.... I'm seriously thinkin about gettin it but i thought i'd run it past you guys before... here's the link.

doesn't the company that makes the tornado have some class action law suit on their hands for false advertising? and didn't people who used the product have their engines blow up? and doesn't the search button still work?

get the cheaper ram air intake from ebay...it doesnt LOOK as nice as the Injen or the AEM intakes, but youll get more power and better gas milage for like 50 bucks

Intake and exhaust will give a few HP but your right it does get kinda expensive. Both intake and exhaust will help with saving fuel (unless you drive it harder after you put the mod's on to hear the sound). Do some searches for "Injen" "AEM" "Greddy Evo" and "axle back"... Intake, headers, and exhaust are the 3 most common bolt on modifications for gaining a few HP and freeing up some lost power.

yep, i agree. and then you can go get a custom mandrel bent exhaust (mild steel is less expensive than stainless, but you run the risk of rust) for about $200 with an off brand muffler. you'll lose some bottom end, but when the engine can inhale and exhale easier, you'll gain mpg and hp. just remember that once you get the intake and exhaust in, take it easy on the gas pedal. if you drive it to feel the effects of the intake and exhaust, you'll waste more gas than before. fight the urge to hear the intake and exhaust at every light.
