Yea I am referring to the thing that goes under the engine I am and inch a half off the ground from there but with these wheels I can't go any lower or I would be sitting on the inner fender I hit bumps and it hit iner fender some times but I am on 18's so that's like 2 inchs bigger then u

18 is the diameter, not the radius, although your wheel is 2 inches large than his, in relation from the axle, it's only 1". Your car would sit 1" high if you had the same specs but different wheels. Your wheel is 9 inches from the axle to the ground. He is 8 inches from the axle to the ground

Ok soooo that makes more sense because that combined with his 35 profile tire to my 40 would put me right where he is at
Thank you for explaining that sir

No problem. Also tire size adds up. A 16" wheel with a 45 series tire is no different than an 18" wheel with a 35 series tire. More wheel equals less tire. If you increase your tire size or wheel size without compensating, your overall diameter will be larger and your speedo will be off. By changing the ratio of axle spin to circumference of your wheel, you travel farther with the same amount of work. My 18" wheel on a 35 series tire is no different than stock. If I go up to a 40 series tire, my speedo will be off by 2%. There are calculators to tell you the speed difference when changing stock sizes

Yeaa I've looked into that some I'm on 16's and 40 profile I think at 60 I'm actually going like 57

I wanna run a 40 series on my 18's for a tad more tire. It will throw my speedo off by 2% having me do 72mph when my speedo says 70. Worst case scenario, I have a GPS...like it would matter enough lol

Question for you slammed guys. Do y'all remove the plastic fender liner inside the wheel well?

Looks amazing! Hope you had fun at crafted, Mike's events are usually pretty good.

I haven't had a fender liner for years. Although I recommend you fortify the stock harness going through the driver fender well. I installed a piece of flat plate to keep myself from rubbing through it.
