The Slammed Life

he wanted to know your opinions not what it actually looked like. and please drop the profanity.. id love to keep this slammed thread open unlike the last failed one.

I'll try to get better pics up but this is all i have for now...Work emotion xd9 18x9+33 front/ 18x10+38 rear.

Newbie looks good, but kinda sunk in the front. Time to get another pair of 18x10's and then lower!

meh the fronts aren't too bad. A pic when i was test fitting them a couple weeks ago. Some wider tires and the fronts should be flush, they are a bit stretched.

IDK it looks like there's a tad bit of stretch on them. He's got lots of room for more wheel width or offset for some flushie action which would make it look beast. Appears low to me. Pretty sunk mind you. But low.

wow, all protege owners are jealous of newbie. if you can fit 9s and 10s and still be a little sunk, then damn. that car looks good.

i only said what i did cause he said he was going to add a wider tire in the front to close in the gap... meaning there is no issue of rubbing and he could go lower and run a wider wheel in front. i was not intentionally hating at all and it is awesome to get an rx-8 in the mix :) he is definitely low.. its just we dont have many references on how low that can go on coils.. but it sounds like he still has room to play with

looks like from the pictures its about 3-5mm from flush in the rear and a solid inch to inch and a half in the front. granted yes he is on 9's in the front and 10's in the rear but this isnt a protege.. thats like saying "well 350z is on 18x8's"... everyone knows thats cake.

and it also looks like hes running pretty much zero camber.
maybe spacers would do the trick? he is low. but hes the low anyone can do..

appreciate the constructive criticism....i still have room to play with some wider tires but i am happy as is right now, I like it sitting aggressive as is. I'll have some proper pics hopefully later this week, then ya'll can decide if i need some spacers in the front or not, since most people have been pointing that out lol.

YOU need to decide whether you want spacers or not. It's your car, this is the slammed thread not the stance thread. I love yhe way it sits, don't change it.

not a problem my friend. the rears look good, pretty much flush and the front is the biggest issue. what would it run you to get a pair of 10's for the front??

I agree. He is slammed and this is the slammed thread. It's not like he is slammed on stock wheels but that would be okay too since I am partial to rx8 wheels.
