The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Westfield, where I work, sponsors a driving program at Mid Ohio that my sister did. saved 15% off the insurance

Know what makes me kinda sad? I sold the MSM to Levi and he had major issues with it. Now his other car is acting up for him. I sometimes feel like I wish I would have sold the car to someone else that I don't give a s*** about because I feel like a complete s*** for the issues he's had with it. What goes thru my head is "Man, I can't believe you sold one of your best friends a car that was apparantly a ticking time bomb. What kind of a dick are you?"

And it's officially killed my desire to work on my own cars again. :(
Pfffffffft. Don't be too hard on yourself.

Jeff sold his S4R Monster to Kevin Murphy and it spun a bearing within the first month he had it. The bike had 30-some thousand miles on it and had never touched a track (which is a feat with him)! He rode it all over the west coast that year on a trip, through rain, snow, etc. Bike was bought new, maintenance was always done on time, with dealership tools.

You never know with engines.

I got my license in Colombia when I was 12 (minimum age is 16)... never took a driving course, my mom taught me how to drive. While it was awesome for me at the time, I do agree things need to be much more strict around here, lots of people who shouldn't be driving

Wait. How did you get your license when you were 12 when the minimum age is 16?

Secretly a Colombian Drug Lord?

haha my parents use to work in the traffic division, my dad supervised the "CSI" team for traffic accidents, and my mom worked in the office. They know people.

Do you have a Crystal Ball? Anyone that knows you, knows that you are not the type of person that looks to take advantage of your friends and family! You know how much of a pain our cars can be! You are always one of the first to offer to help people, so much so, that you sometimes put off your own projects. You know the MSM went to someone you know and trust, not to someone that wouild came back on you and said that you screwed them!

Levi had know way of knowing that his 3 was going to have issues, neither did you. Levi knows the MSM and the inherent issues with FI Cars.......give yourself a break!

+1.

s*** happens Phen.

I got my license the day I turned 16. I was able to take my drivers ed at the 2 city high schools, and finished in half the time. I haven't crashed enough cars to say I am a bad driver. LOL! Although I have torn some s*** up.

Tires are en-route for the MS3 wheels that I plan to put on the CX5. They are scheduled to go on Tuesday. Pics to follow. I am excited to see the result.

Sorry to hear your car troubles part 2 Levi.

Speaking of brake checking, I so wanted to brake check this idiot yesterday so badly, but I was in a work truck, and won't put that on the company's name, especially with our number plastered on the tailgate.

Also, the past two days (in downtown Columbus) re-affirmed my hate for city living.

Columbus is nothing. Try driving in Manhattan or DC. That will drive you insane. (lol2)

**** no. If I had to drive/live in any large city, it would be Dallas Fort Worth. Down there they know how to zipper merge, and rush hour traffic is still doing 70mph, not 20-0-31-0-10-10-10-0-20-0
