Where do you local guys buy your firearms? Any good/bad stores? FB groups? GunBroker.com?

I've got a Ruger P345 I bought from a friends dad for $400 and it's nearly brand new so I don't want to sell it but I sure would like something smaller to carry. But the mini baby guns feel weird in my paws since they are so small. And I've got little paws.

I'm all for it, but I highly doubt I'll ever carry. If I need a gun to go somewhere and feel safe, I don't need to go there.
 
Fin Feather & Fur in Canton always has a sale of some sort, also Kames (prices tend to be high). I bought my Sig from the Marksman in Barberton. I did sell a gun privately, but haven't bought privately via armslist or gunbroker.

I haven't held one, but the P99C is 1 inch shorter than the PK380 so I don't know how it would be to shoot. I remember shooting a .40 that had a short grip and the thing almost fell out of my hand (my ex step brother has small hands), I know the 9mm or .380 won't have as much recoil but I still want it to be comfortable to hold. I considered the PPX, but that is full size. The P22 is almost the same size as the PK380, but I wouldn't want to have a 22 for defense.

I carry a springfield XD45c or Melissa's Khar CW9. Both are great weapons with each only having a single failure to fire, both due to bad ammunition. My XD45c probably has atleast 4-5k rounds through it. Still cycles nice and tight and I actually won my Police Academy's top shot competition with it. The CW9 probably has about 2k rounds through it and runs great.

M&P's are also great weapons. I do strongly advise against going with a 380 as its just to large of a round for the charge. Not sure if you guys heard of the shooting in Wadsworth Wal-Marts parking lot a few years ago but a 380 was used point blank (approximately 3-6 inches away) against a guys head and failed to puncture his skull. The 9mm is a far better choice. In a compact weapon I would also suggest against carrying a 40 as they're a PITA to control in short barrel weapons, 45's tend to do a lot better.

You're more than welcome to shot either of these as long as you buy the ammo/range time.

I have the rainbow. I don't see any major differences in pics between the standard and SAS??? Are the differences that minute?

Edit: got mine on gunbroker.com, as everywhere said 6 month wait on the rainbow.
 
^^^ I'll offer the same. Anyone can shoot anything I have provided they buy the range time and ammunition.

I've gotten most of my stuff locally from a few different places (usually who has the best price that day). I have purchased two firearms online though. I'm pretty sure my Gewehr '98 was through GunBroker and it was a relatively painless process (despite some confusion at the FFL). My Beretta was purchased through Bud's Gun Shop and the transaction was flawless.

The 3.4" barrel on the P99C does have a good amount of kick. I honestly wouldn't shoot one in .40 being familiar with the recoil of the 9 mm and knowing the general nature of .40. LOL, I don't like .40 either but for some reason my wife does. To me it's too expensive for what it is. I haven't checked in years but does Walther no longer make the PPS? <1" thick and can be chambered in 9 mm or .40
 
Next time we're together just let me know. I always carry atleast one of the guns. I also have 45acp and 9mm stocked up so no need to find it and I wont charge crazy prices. I also know the owner of The Marksman in Barberton.
 
I spend too much time and money on car parts to afford guns, let alone food.
