@ Sho - they DID. He's on his way over to the store in Woodmere now. Hopefully another new sim card will do the trick!! augh! Thanks!!

crisis resolved! Marlon's got his phone up and working. I have mine back in my possession and the fawn aka bambi is still sleeping in the back yard. I got a vm from the animal control lady, it's not abandoned. momma has 2 babies and they've been seen moving through the neighborhood. she'll come back and get it when it's safe. pretty amazing, i guess. how does the kid know to stay there and not move? if only human children could be so smart. LOL i learned all about deer scents from her vm. i guess babies don't have a scent so they can stay wherever and the natural predators won't 'find' them ... momma on the other hand with her scent attracts predators. (i learned we have coyotes around too! nice!!) so she stays away during the day so as not to attract danger and then she goes and checks on the babies and moves them around at night. pretty interesting stuff! i walked up to within 5 feet of it when i went home at lunch to make sure it was still breathing and it didn't flinch. still just napping away. : ) now i want to set up a night vision video camera so i can see when she comes to get it! LOL

deer are really interesting creatures. Ive learned a lot about them since i started hunting them. If the mother doe has 2 babies, then they are genetic twins as well, which is pretty neat. Thats a good genetic trait when it comes to deer. Coyotes are dangerous when it comes to deer anymore. they used to be timid animals and mostly prey on squirrels, rabbits, and such but recently they have begun gaining wolf-like characteristics and started hunting in packs. when they do this they become a severe threat to larger game animals like deer, and can easily take them down. maybe Keep a light on in your back yard if it is still there when night time comes around, thats when coyotes are active and they especially like to feed on fawns. So watch out for that! and if you really like their company, leave a little bit of uncooked corn out there :) theyll come back

for the people that ordered the new plates, how long did shipping take from the date of order to your door step? just wondering how long I have to wait

I think it's about two weeks.

I ordered mine a week ago from today, don't have them yet. But it is the government we're talking about... It could take months. lulz.

just split the 185 with someone and both get their cars done for 92.50

i'll bring the coupons tomorrow and you can look into it, whoever wants to.

when i got home just now, bambi wasn't in her spot. i had a hunch and sure enough he/she is now BEHIND our garage hiding in the weeds. : ) it's cute now, but i'd rather them not come back if they are going to start eating my plants that i haven't yet planted ... and as for the coyotes, i've never seen them around here. we live in a pretty residential area, but there are woods within 1/2 a mile or so ... i'd rather not entice either species.

it pablo is looking for pics of bambi, i'm downloading/uploading now ... so hold on ...

and Sho, it was actually the PHONE that was the problem, not the SIM card, so he got a NEW new phone. : )
