The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

We will be doing the Sahlen's Shop tour and the like again. Also we are going to be hosting a Mazda Corral @ Road Atlanta for the season ending event, Petit Le Mans. The Europeans are coming, Puegeot, Audi, Nissan, etc. We will be doing a Mohican Fun Run too in the fall. So we will be having a couple of big meets in Ohio. I did like the drive in tbat Larry picked in Ashland, it was a lot of fun.

Well I cant do that because I'm not Ken Block uhh I mean Im not into racing. Sure I like my car fast but I've never actually raced on a track.

I love Menchies and have been meaning to bring the wife out but as previously mentioned, busy during the summer and all that.

Then bring her Friday to the Fairlawn Menchies.

I did run up to Lakewood one friday after everyone backed out at Fairlawn, but Marlon backed out on that one and only Peaches showed up.

The food is mediocre at best, and they're always staffed with the worst people. Total garbage experience every time I'm at one!!

I agree, haven't been to one in years. I think I gave away my gift card because it sucks so much.

Fairlawn is a hike for me but perhaps I can talk her into stopping at Skyway as well.

Some of race, some of us auto-x and some of us do both. A good number of us attend races at various tracks. We will have two fairly large meets, The Mohican Fun Run, at Mohican State Park. and the Team Sahlen Shop Tour, dinner and raffle. Both events will take place in October, we will post up the dates on the boards as soon as we have them.

I'm guessing they won't have used Speedsource rides next year... Maybe if we pool our money we could get close to affording one of their 8's. I think Speedsource was selling a race prepped MS3 for like $80k a while ago.

You guys will also be the first to see and hear the announcement of what car is going to be used in Grand-Am
