Anyone know the strength differences between forged rods and H beam rods made from 4340 steel. I'm assuming the main thing is weight, but I really have no idea? Help
It depends on what material rods are forged
also if the 4340 is heat tempered or not. There are many variables. Forging is much more predictable than something cast and reacts to heat treatment much better.

You can't beat pauter rods for our cars. I've seen a few people break k1s but if you're not going crazy with HP you'll be fine with k1s

you're comparing 4340 to forged 4340
Gotcha. That was the info I was looking for. I don't plan on going crazy on boost, but I would rather not want to replace something again after I rebuild the whole motor. K1 should work nicely for what I have planned. Thanks.

I have, they're OK, mostly disappointed when it didn't look like the advertisement they had next to the bridge. I'd rather have a burger from Barroco or better yet make my own but alas, I don't have a grill and don't cook for myself that often. If you go to the meet in Columbus, you'll try one of my burgers, maybe
