The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

I see that you can buy one on SU or PG, but I don't really want to pay $70 for one.

Both junk yards around here have them cut or missing out of the car.

What are you looking for again?

MazToy? Mazda Recycling (Specialized Parts Planet)?

I might have to try it out. I read the whole thread and the only thing they had against it was they didn't know how long it would last. Probably a lot cheaper, unless I find one at a junkyard around here.

I can try to pull the one from the Protege at Pull-a-Part in Cleveland on Saturday for you, Corey.

It needs to be off a 626 intake. The MSP and ES Prtoege EGR tubes have a different bend and are not long enough. There are 2 different intakes for the 626 as well and the EGR tube looks like the one found for sale on PG and fits the intake that looks like the one on SU, ifthat makes any since. I don't know if they have specific names, sorry. I'm going to check another junkyard tomorow on the other side of town. Hopefully something shows up.

On anither note, how much of a pain in the ass is it to take out the old studs of the downpipe?

Doh, sorry. What do you need to hook that silly s*** up for anyway, man? Delete the EGR and cap everything. Boom.

^lol I hate the stupid cell light. I know pull the bulb, but just incase something else goes wrong with her at least I have a little warning (maybe) before zoom-zoom-boom-boom :)

I'm just going back to stock with the msp, I don't have the time to do a part out on the blue one.

No worries Nate. If it is indeed totaled, providing that the doors are in good shape and if you are able just let me know what junk yard it goes to and I will go from there.

they were pretty rusty at the seems at the bottom, at least on the driver's side

Both of my passenger side doors have a s*** ton of little dents from 1 end to the other. So unless they are really eaten up with rust...
