I need to clean it on the outside to take some pics and make the post, hopefully I can do that tonight. Here's what I was planning to do before next winter, you don't have to do everything, but I wanted to keep the car for a while:
hoses, thermostat, belts, gaskets, plugs, disty cap, etc for full maintenance: ~$350 - if you only do the timing belt its ~$160, I was told the water pump was done 2 years ago.
new tires, whatever you can find closest to 195\65\14: ~$200 for winter or ~$280 for all seasons, or you can get used tires for less
new tie rods (inner and outer), boots & clamps so an alignment can be done: ~$80
seals for the top to stop the leaks: ~$200
new hood latch and release cable: ~$60
there's a small oil leak that seems to be coming from the filter, looks very old so I think that's the problem. the top doesn't look great, I patched the holes I found in a hurry but some rubber cement or something like that could do a better job.
