^^Those are still the 323 and 626 here, too. The F2's in the 3rd gen 626 are pretty much bullet proof.
And in other news, my neighbor Kevin has his eyes on a '06 MS6! It's got less than 40K on it, but it's led a peculiar life. Started out in Hawaii, where I guess it was wrecked hard. The ad says it has a salvage title, but he went and looked at it last night, and they told him there that the title still says it's clean, because HI doesn't do salvage/rebuilt titles? Then it spent some time in South Carolina, before ending up in some auction in New Jersey where this lot bought it. He said there are some minor imperfections here and there, but overall, it looks good and drives even better!
He was gonna crunch some numbers (probably means talk to the wife. lol) and see how feasible it would be. Then if he's serious, he's gonna take me to look at it so I can check out the repairs. He'll need to see how much he can get for his 6 wagon though. A part of me wants to see how much I could get for my car so I could buy it from him! But I keep thinking to myself....rust free/heavily rustproofed southern car > 7 year old Ohio car. lol
Yea, he'd have to give me a hell of a deal on his car. It's probably worth $9,000 or so with all the mods he has, but I couldn't offer more than $7,000, because that's what I feel my car is worth. Even though dealerships would ask $8,000 or more for my car, doesn't mean anyone out there is willing to pay that much. I think I'd be hard pressed to find someone to give me $7,000 for this car as it is. Nobody's got money nowadays! haha
My bad about the plate, Fabio is a whole other issue.
chippy almost bought her after the stealer put a new engine in her, would have if they had told him what the switch on the center console was for LOL
Welp....my neighbor said he could give me his car for $7000, so I think I'm going to try and make this happen. He's bringing the MS6 up to my work later today so I can get it up on a lift and really check it out. The only hold up will be, trying to sell my car ASAP so he can get his money and get the MS6, which will probably prove easier said than done. Tusch down in Dayton is interested since his has been totaled, but it may be a little out of his price range. A kid at work is in the market for something new, and he was going to buy a 04 SVT Focus this weekend for $6000 (less than 80K on it, but it needs a clutch and o2 sensors....beat down much??) but I ran a deal past him and he said he'd be interested and he'd need to check with his bank first. He's kind of a young, punk kid who's constantly changing his mind though, so I'm taking his word with a gain of salt.
Other than those 2 options, I got nothing. I could start a for sale thread, but again, this would need to happen with lightning quickness to either get Kevin's car, or possibly this other 6 wagon sport I found at a dealer nearby. Truth be told, I actually like this one more, because it's untouched, also a 1 owner car (free carfax) similar miles (108K) but has heated leather, for the same price of $7000! Maybe Kevin will decide that he wants to try and get more for his, I'm not sure why he would offer his car for $1000-$1500 less than he could get? I know we're friends and all, but DAMN that's a lot of money to lose out on! haha
Lulz. "Over boosting", hitting the rev limiter, bad tune and NOS. And I'm the ricer... (kiss)
I do enjoy those movies despite how corny they are.
I has all of them on blu-ray, I'll watch 1 every now and then but I've never had a marathon... I have had a resident evil marathon though
- not by choice"Over boosting"
- I'm not afraid tohitting the rev limiter
- I had no tune for a while, that's why I got the standbackbad tune
- don't give me s*** about my NOS switch, you wanted one too... and while we're at it, how about your steering wheel with guns and rocket stickers on the NOS buttons??
- yes, you areAnd I'm the ricer...
too bad this plan wasn't in place at the beginning of the month
Some are adjustable, some aren't. Read the manual, anything that is "user configurable," generally speaking, should be in there. There may be a knob or something to change it.
I don't think it would have to do that much, just the exhaust
That's way above my pay grade.Yeah... highly doubt it's adjustable, I was talking more like, can I wire in a potentiometer and use resistance or something to have a little knob to fine tune the resistance to my liking.
