The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

It would only increase as it's an additive. Probably guess around 280 or so.

C'mon, I am trying to get one (maybe 2) over on Jenny. I don't need to be buying a bunch of piecesparts. I want to try to get some extra stuff done while the car is "down" for the springs/sway bars. The BSD I can get without her knowing but the baffle thing...i dunno. Depends on the cost.

well you could... but i'd just buy it. Also, remember the oil baffle kit so the oil "stays" in place... I got mine from F2 before they died, don't remember if it was included in the kit

i dont think the baffle is neccessary at all.... the intake for oil is so low (practically sitting on the bottom of the oil pan) that youd have to either roll or be under 1qt or oil to worry about not getting oil and going boom

my "bsd kit" came with the baffle, can't really search for it now but I think it was like 40 bucks, might not be necessary but I put it in anyway. I have the advanced timing but I didn't really feel a difference with it

advancing the timing is just shifting the power band slightly more towards the top end, not necessarily something you will feel but def something you can tell once on the dyno

cause its free, 5 minute mod that helps keep the car from running out of steam up top... stock the car seems to just lack much after 5500 rpm (well below redline)

advancing the timing shifts the powerband more towards the top end so that instead of falling on it face it will actually continue to pull to redline... lets be honest your not going to feel a gain of 1-2hp but you will notice it is more eager to keep climbing past the 5500 mark once its been done

So right in the middle for a "chippy/ticklemepink" house warming meet!?!
Her housewarming meet. I'm staying right where I am for the time being. I have a job opportunity at Gordon Food Service here in Medina that I want to see play out. But that will just be for a year...then we will see what happens...

its about an hour and twenty to hour and a half away from me

Cool thanks! We just don't know anyone else in the area and I was just curious.

Thanks for the good wishes hadnt been on here for a couple days.
Have a fun trip!

I thought that Buckeye schools where in Medina County?
Yeah...it's funny because both Justine and I graduated from the Buckeye Local School District in Medina County! Now she might be working for a different Buckeye Local School District! There is also a Buckeye Local in Ashtabula...way too many, especially when you see it pop up on the school closings and get all excited just to have your heart ripped out...

its not too terribly far away, its just no really easy/simple route

Damn these storms are strong I went down to the first floor of my apt place for a little bit when the sirens were going off. When I came back up stairs I went to close the sliding door all the way and lighting hit so close I felt the static bout s*** my pants.

Pretty wild!

We haven't gotten it too bad here in W. Akron yet. We always worry when it T-storms, 'cause we live in an old neighborhood, in a 100 year old house, with giant trees/falling limbs everywhere...not a good combo!

it's lightning like crazy here in Columbus

there were at least 2 roads closed on my way into work tonight...and they didnt close the road i was on that had a couple down trees on it. they were basically off the road, so no biggies.

Anyone know of any other NEOhio salvage yards that let you remove your own parts like Pull-a-Part in Akron/Canton?

I know they have a pic-a-part in on the west side of Cleveland not sure about AKC.
Everyone make it thru the nasty weather ok?

Kevin went to one or two down in the Canton area I believe. He pulled a bunch of stuff off some RX-7's for his. I'm not sure on the spelling, but one was Worshalls or Worshils, and maybe Fox auto salvage.
