I was just driving fairly spirited, it was difficult to go the 55mph insane speed limit!! LOL Most turns had warning signs saying either 10-20 mph. I did cross about half way into the other lane near the end though. I can send it to you and you can be the judge. It's not a big deal though lol.

Damn that sucks about getting home at 4:45, then having to work!!! Was your trip business or personal?
 
I can tell you now that it'll be ok to post, just based on your description. We've posted Mohican fun run videos before and we all know how those are.

Trip was business. I was out in Colorado and Wyoming at a jobsite investigating an accident. It wasn't fun.

For some reason, the video looks like I'm going slow lol. The ending is the best part though. Apparently I took the turn fast enough to make Evan #1's suction cup mount fall off!

Yeah, but I have a new project that I'm starting and we had an important meeting today. I had to be here for that. Well... I didn't have to, but I felt better about being there for it.
 
We have had fun on the road to VIR.......sounds like Evan #2 is now a track junkie. VIR is a great track, wish we were there.
 
Sweet video, Evan. Sorry the mount came off though. It's never came off on my car and it's mounted year round. I took video of the Fun Run last fall with it but didn't want to get in trouble for posting it either. Then again, your car is quicker than mine. ;)

Basically that guy in the middle that spins really really fast... the gearbox decided to eat the planetary gears. The question was... why did it do that? It's driven by a 1400 hp electric motor and spins at around 20k rpm.

Huh, that actually sounds kind of interesting. Not the chem part, but the rest of it. So they flew you in to play detective?
 
Anyone want the tires off my OZs? Two are shot I think, but the other two are actually in pretty decent condition still. Damn Subie owners...

I tried to take them to a place out here in litchfield, but they said the tire was too low profile for them to remove safely, so they are getting dropped off at Motomotion tomorrow...

ok now im getting excited for spring... hub rings for the OZ's came in and now im just waiting for the new grill and lip to come in.. then its time to do some painting haha


is it spring yet haha

Yeah kinda. Mainly because they were trying to blame the control system that I designed on the problem. I'll admit, there were a couple issues, but none of them contributed to the failure. Basically, I spent two days in front of the historian (record keeping system of the control system) analyzing everything that happened for a 4 hour block before the failure trying to figure out what happened. I pretty much wrote out a few scenarios as to what possibly happened and why, but none have been confirmed.

I would love to make an offer on these. Not too sure I will like the low profile either but if, IF I am able to get those wheels off of Levi's buddy (Shawn?). I will need tires, cheaper the better for now as they only have to last this summer. As luck would have it I have to have surgery (2 hernias) in the next week or so. I am waiting for the surgeon to call me for an exam appointment to set my surgery date, and pending works comp my monies(or lack of) are on hold. Pisses me off so bad, now my springs, sway bars, and wheels are all on hold till we know for sure what is going on. I was going to get the ball rolling on this stuff this week.

that sucks larry, and dont worry about putting those parts on hold, there will always be deals on car parts... your health is more important anyway, good luck with a speedy recovery man
