Levi, I'm not hip to the orange. But I didn't like the OD green either. But I'm sure it will look cool in person. Did you ever paint your winter wheels purple?
nope never got around to it, til i was able to get the tires mounted it was already snowing so i had to put em on and never got a chance to paint them...
and thats ok if you dont like the orange... its gonna be a love or hate thing and i know not everyone is going to like it but im OK with that haha

At least you got the right style wheels to pull it off. I don't think just any style could do it.
All these talk about wheels made me horny. So I picked these up today from a local cat on Craigslist. $300 is a little high for just wheels but I need new tires for the spring anyway. 17x7 +40 offset going to be painted gloss black with Yokohama Parada Spec 2's in 215/40-17.

Anyone interested in Enkei RPF1s? I'm going to be lowering my car further now that I'm running 15s and these won't fit anymore.
I believe they are 17x8, +42 offset and 5x114.3 bolt pattern, Silver. They have a lot of scratches around the lug nut holes from the socket spinning against the wheel (been on and off the car a lot), but not many other marks on them. Currently have mostly used up 225/40/17 Hoosier A6s on them. I'll let them go for $650. Posting here because I'm not willing to go through the hassle of shipping.

Not in a hurry at all. I really wouldn't be sad if I kept them. I can bring one down for you to try sometime, I'm not that far away.
Why I love where I live:
-12 hour day between student teaching and a college class this evening
-Come home, eat dinner, receive a phone call
-spend rest of evening helping lift and install a transmission on the back of a 1979 Ford 302 boat engine with the rest of my family
Another funny story from tonight: Some of you know that my family monopolizes the street I live on. We were making a huge racket cutting the top off of a oil barrel...my cousin goes, "we are waking up all the neighbors...oh wait, we are the neighbors!".............I guess you had to be there, but we had family from 4 of the 5 households on my street...
