In all honesty, I don't.

Boo. Steve didn't win MOTM. I don't like that riced out MSP. It has a chrome engine/tranny. Come on. Chrome? Trailer queen...
btw- Happy Friday!!!
What are you guys dressing up as for Halloween?
Just a heads up... I wouldn't go too far outside of the Ohio threads talking about PG right now. I can't divulge info as to why, but it's just a good idea to keep it down for a bit.
The easiest thing is to just say I had just about every bolt on available for the MSP except what I listed and lightweight pulleys. I'm pretty sure I still have a mod list somewhere on my home computer and I can PM you that if you'd like.magnum - what all did you have done? trying to think of everything i need/want
Just make sure you're comparing apples to apples here. Sure the KLZE may be a performance engine, but it's "pedestrian" counterpart, the KLDE was not. A truer comparison would be the KLZE to the FSZE (I'm noticing a trend here). Also, I recall the KLZE's weren't boost friendly (oddly enough, neither were the FSZE's) due to higher compression (10:1 I believe). If you compare KLDE to FSDE you'll realize that neither one is really any better than the other, except the KL has two more pistons and therefore makes more power. The KL is much better suited to boost and increased power in general. Not even a contest. Not saying you can't get there with the fs-de. It's obvious by looking around at numerous builds pushing over 250whp that it's not difficult. But it's far easier and less headache with a motor designed with performance in mind, versus the pedestrian fs-de that was utilized in the msp due simply to Mazda making a business decision geared at immediate profitability. The KL was legitimately engineered with performance in mind. Really the only immediate limitation are the stock rods (Why does mazda always skimp on the rods? lol).
EDIT: Found it and read the thread on this site....its a shame....I wanted his short shifter in case I didn't have the funds and needed a mod on a budget....I guess it wouldn't be worth it. Once I asked him to get me some stock spark plugs (but Densos) and he never replied. They were at my door the next day from 'the unspeakable site' Still, a shame because I love looking at that site and seeing the great prices...must be shodddy stuff tho

Nate, you'll have to post pics. Haha! Are you going to shave your beard or be a furry cheerleader?
im thinking of doing a "guido" from jersey shore, but at the same time making fun of them by going oompa loompa orange and some other things like that haha or going as Waldo (from the "where's waldo?" books growing up) any thoughts haha
