The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

I can only contribute $20, I don't think that will help out much.

Got my rental, a 2011 Mazda 3i with just under 15k. I can barely hear it start. First drive impressions of it are good. Has the 5 speed auto-stick and has some pep to it. I could see it as a dd but not anything to mod except for lowering it to get rid of the 4" gap and maybe a little louder exhaust to know it's running.

until you put that exhaust on and gain a legit 8-10whp... hell the header gained a legit 16whp
great dd, bolts ons an even better dd with even better mileage

ive gained 27whp with the boltons i have (dyno proven from stock dyno pull compared to last spring, and both were on the exact same dyno)

In this hypothetical world I'd be keeping the msp so no need to get too crazy, plus I think a header would make it too loud for a baby.

Gots me a new job!

nothing exciting, just data entry put it pays more than my current job, is guaranteed full-time with benefits, no more third shift! and I'll still be able to work for Home Depot about 10-15 hours a week. I'm hoping to start in about a month.

Congrats

thanks guys!
Nice!

Kind of semi-related, but I wish Home Depot carried the nicer Ingersoll Rand impact wrenches. I've got a gift card to there, but I don't want to get stuck with a lower end one.

I'm sure you have, but have you looked online?

blah blah blah earthquake blah blah blah

did you feel it at all? my apartment building shook

shook may be to harsh of a word, it was more like a sway. Kinda like when you're hungover and sit-up for the first time a little too fast

Yeah, they don't have the 2135TiMax. I wanted to get it with the last birthday and christmas money my grandma gave me before she passed as a way to remember her, so I wanted a tool that would hopefully last the rest of my wrenching career.

I thought I was getting dizzy or something, the monitors were moving back and forth but nothign shook

Same. I was thinking "why can't I hold still?"

Felt nothing. Only reason I even knew about it was the mass status updates from literally every person I'm friends with on Facebook.

Congrats on the new job Nate. When are you coming to get your baby-mobile?? :)
