I need to out the rear brakes on.....if there is room and time....
for the msp or for the 6?
Well... Proteges use a fun allen head bolt in the rear of the caliper to retract the piston.
3's have two holes in the face of the piston that you push and twist simulatneously to retract the piston. Levi and I did his car with needle nose pliers. Hurts the hand. There is a specialty tool (of course) that assists with it. It's kinda similar to VW's method. I'm not sure how the 6's are, but I assume it's similar to the 3.

Don't forget to rent that rear brake piston pusher-inner tool, yO! (yes, that's the technical term for it. Ask any tech at Mazda)
I got the 2 pin brake caliper retactor tool if you need to use it.
