Also, have an interview this morning, so this guy might be getting employed. It's at Target, but imo that's at least 10x better than Wallymart.

If I am loading the maps that have already been created, would I necessarily need to have the data logging feature? I just don't anticipate creating my own tunes if there are tried and true ones already available.

Maybe this is just me trying to reason with paying an awesome price for a V1 right now as opposed wait for a decent V2 to come up in the future.

What Phen said is exactly true. Even with the same mods no two cars are alike so I'd be nervous running some pre-made map. I started with the SuperMap or whatever it's called and went from there. I know a lot of people have had success with that map but for me for some reason it was overly rich beyond 4000 RPM. There were also some settings I didn't like that I ended up changing. Obviously we're not saying you can't, but you're definitely not optimized if you're using someone else's map. But tuning-wise there isn't anything different from V1 to V2. I would make sure V1 has the inputs though. If not, I'd say pass and wait for a V2.

i would prolly do black decals on the blue painted areas and blue decals on the black painted areas lol

I need to decide this week if I am going to Putnam Park on May 14-15. Not sure if I want to put myself in that much of a rush with finals coming up the next couple weeks. I also need to find some way to heat cycle my new tires before then. After that is Grattan in June and MidOhio in July, August and September. Not sure about anything else.

Its actually a grey car, but I do plan on doing grey vinyl on the hood and blue on the sides if I go that route. Waiting to hear back on price from a local supplier.

Thanks man! The no job for a while allowed me to breath for the first time since I started school, and honestly it's been the best bit of my life so far, but it's hard to mod on no budget, and what with everyone having turbos out the wazoo, I'm getting kind of anxious for some fun myself.

Lol! I didn't want to act like I was 75 and have all the joint problems associated with that, too! I do enough damage to myself already!

Everything went great, and they offered me the job right then, so they had me pee in a cup, and everything should be good!

Yeah, I'll be looking to get rid of it before the end of the summer, I'd think. It just depends on how things go. It's rough, but the price reflects that, haha. If you're interested I can show it to you more closely sometime.

If you guys go let me know. We can make a MSP event out of it.Mine being the slowest, but would benice to see more than one MSP at a autocross event. That will never happen over here. NWOR next event isn't until the 15th of next month. Let me know if it is on another day and you guys go.
