That's a nice looking car from what I can see, but it doesn't look like some of the MSPs I have seen around. I wish I could find one like the Sumlins have I really like that one.
So by your logic any MS3 that dynos with over 238 lb-ft is on a improperly calibrated dyno? The only charts I have seen where the MS3 has that low of torque is where the power was rolled into after 3k RPM and did not have the boost spike at that spot. You can tell the difference in the charts by the shape of the graph before 3k RPM.
begi (notice only 75 HP being made at 3k rpm, obviously rolling into the power slowly here. Also the only dyno coming close to the 238 lb-ft that you claim is a maximum for the MS3 to the wheels)

automobile mag (216 whp is low for this motor, this is lower than begi dyno -- but still significantly higher torque than begi since they didn't ease into the power)

and the coup de grace - Tru-Boost (67 degrees 29.35 in-hg 14%humidity SAE 0.99)

I'm not vouching for the accuracy of any of these charts. Air intake temperatures will be lower in real world driving conditions. This will affect the output in a negative way when measuring on a dyno.[/QUOTE]
I am saying that a stock MS3 cannot hit 280 ft lbs. Period. Any chart that says otherwise is incorrect. I never said that it can only hit 238, but it will not truly hit 280. It's simple physics. I'm done with the argument.
Jess, I'm glad you're ok. Good luck with the car and apt search.
Agreed. And thanks--2 down, waiting on the 3rd to arrive... So far neither has had any body rust which is impressive.
Sup peeps, got 2 hours before my flight
In other news. Jen went for her polygraph yesterday in Massilon. One more step complete for her new job. To think she filled out the application in January, took a preliminary test at the end of february, an interview in march, and finally the polygraph yesterday. Not sure what/when the next is. Crazy stuff!
Wow, thats a long process! Hopefully that means everything is looking good though at this stage
I'm not sure I have a preference just yet. Unfortunately with scotch you get what you pay for so typically the more expensive it is the better it is (IMO). I've tried a bunch of stuff from Johnny Walker, Glenmorangie, Glenfiddich, Glenkinchie, Lagavulin, and so on. I prefer the more aged, smokey/woody stuff. Lagavulin 16 will knock your socks off. By far the most intersting I've ever tried is Glenmorangie D'ior. It's initially very sweet but has a very strong finish and is thicker, almost like a liqueor.what's your flavor?
friends did a scotch tasting party last Friday, Belvenie 12 year was my favorite from the night
My wife and I have the same problem except we prefer RPG's. Even harder to find a co-op version of those that is MMO. We enjoyed the Gears of War FPS series, but like Halo the "campaign" mode can go by quickly in one sitting. The best RPG series we've found is the "Tales" series by Namco. Easily 50+ hours of gameplay but it isn't 100% co-op.Anyone have Resident Evil 6 for Xbox 360 they want to trade for Halo 4?
I bought Halo 4 last night for my GF and I to play and we beat it in 6 hours. It's sad games aren't co-op split screen anymore...![]()
If I ever bought another Miata I'd probably get one from a southern state. Fly/drive down and pick it up. So many more options that are rust free. Where are you looking?
Nate- i think the crank pulley sensor or the cam position sensor can go bad and the car will turn over but it won't start because the computer never sees the right signal from the sensor or something...
...someone on here said their crank pulley sensor went bad from oil getting on it. Mine's caked up with oil from my valve cover not being sealed around where the cam pulleys are, so if oil or something can make a crank pulley sensor go bad than i could see that happening. Mine hasn't had any problems though...
I remember on here you posted some stuff about running out of oil or something, but i can't remember what happened to your car- if i knew i still wouldn't be much help though.
Fix your car eh mate? Better than selling it for not-running-msp value

They are pretty secretive about it. She goes for something and they tell her nothing either way, then they call and give her an appointment for the next step. A lot like a scavenger hunt lol. It does seem to be going well though, they keep sending more clues.
As in the frame rail doesn't stick down from the floor hardly at all anymore lol. White one is out of alignment. Convenient since I bought a lifetime alignment for my last white one...... Lol.Smooshed frame rails as in the tab that sticks down? Or the rail itself is dented in? As long as they are straight that wouldn't bother me much. If alignment specs are available it'd be interesting to see those.
Don't forget to check for the SNC on the '91s. The blue one also claims to have an LSD... The NA6 viscous LSDs aren't great, but it's better than open.
At the end of the day they both look like good options honestly. I hate the white paints stock wheels on the blue car haha.
