The Ohio Auto-X and Track Event chat thread

well really if anything breaks im thinking itll be the LSD since im pretty much stock engine wise.

Min 3, Max 5 would be my guess.

I'm going to guess 4, but with walk-ins it will probably make the entry list 200+ and then most likely only 3 runs. This one is probably going to have the most people because the Toledo Pro is next month and people like to test out different setups on this surface. There will be a lot of people from out of town in all the class.

If anything goes Chris it will be the power steering ;) I hope not. Almost everything on my car that has broke is from modding so you should be fine.

4 runs today! still got out of there by 4:30.
Thanks again to Will for letting me co driving his Miata, that car is FUN!!!
The handling is VERY predictable.

Thanks again to Marc and Will for all the help today. Made today very fun and I already can't wait for the next one I can do. Most fun I've had with my car in a while. Video's I got of two of my runs will be on youtube in a few minutes

You are welcome it was a fun day even with the rain. You're welcome to co-drive anytime!

I'm glad you made it out! I'm already looking forward to seeing you at the next one!

(You should get a big RSB for your car! (2thumbs))

Well nevermind then. Haha. Keep working the driver mod! :)

thats the plan. When I went to look at details for the MOSCC event next sunday I can't figure out how to pre register. or do you just kinda show up and register?
I changed the RSB to the stiffest setting a few days before hand. definitely helped a lot with body roll. I wasn't really happy with it till I changed the setting. But I need to end links...

Stiffest RSB setting, disconnect FSB. That's what I'd do if I was serious about autocrossing an MS3.

Yeah MOSCC plays it pretty loose, you just show up hand them cash and you're good to go. I'm pretty sure they keep track of entrants/times with good ole' fashioned pen and paper.

Don't forget to register at www.MazdaMotorsports.com once you get your second event done with.

disconnect or take it out? I should have it for DD though right?

Just disconnect one end of each of the end links. Then you can always hook it back up if you don't like it.

true and will do. I might do that one then if it will be laid back. Yesterday was intense to me lol. Marc said that is a bigger event though

Yeah the TEA events are some of the biggest "local" events you'll go to.

Blast, that black V6 Accord beat me by 1.72 seconds. He came over after the first run and asked my times and said they liked my car (riiiiight) and were similar so they were curious. I took that as "We want to see how much faster we are than you". haha

Still had a freaking blast. Thanks again to Will for the vinyl horsepower and letting me borrow his impact and to Marc for letting me use his jack. Don't worry guys, I'm buying my own this week. Haha

Looking forward to the next one!

Im still baffled on how much grip the miata had in the wet. Great learning experience riding with Will and Corey. Letting Corey co-drive my MSP was an even better learning experience for me too. kept within a second of him so I'm happy I guess. Just wish that old fart with the sentra would've blown a tire or something haha. Gonna have to pick me up an awr rear sway bar and get some oversteer going. Oh, and another disco potato with some rcomp tires :p Thanks everyone!
