What Ken Block does in these videos is mostly for exhibition, but autocross/gymkhana has been around since at least the 1960's and is normally run as a time trial form of racing. It's not head to head on the track, but it's still a race.

Hehheh, thanks for the link. I happen to still be an Admin on the Florida MINI Cooper site, and there's been a lot of chatter over the new models. The Coupe looks like an Audi TT crashed into the back of a MINI, IMHO. And if they sell it for $36k as rumored, using the same engine as the current MINI Cooper S, I just cannot imagine who's going to buy it.
